About
Jennifer Silvey is a Physician Assistant (PA-C) at COASTAL MD Integrative Health & Wellness, which has several locations across Long Island, New York. She started her career as a dietitian, and before moving into medicine she earned an undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science and completed a dietetic internship at CW Post at LIU.
She went on to earn a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS in Worcester, Massachusetts, and completed two of her PA school rotations in England. She moved straight into surgery after graduating and has since worked in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Her experience includes caring for patients through reconstructive procedures after cancer or trauma, as well as assisting with cosmetic procedures.
She works with patients seeking reconstructive or cosmetic procedures and views health as more than one thing, looking at the physical, emotional, aesthetic and functional sides together. To keep her knowledge current, she follows medical podcasts and attends health, wellness and aesthetic conferences.
