Jennifer Silvey

Jennifer Silvey is a Physician Assistant (PA-C) at Coastal MD. She began her career as a dietitian after earning an undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science and completing a dietetic internship at CW Post at LIU. She later earned a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS in Worcester, Massachusetts, and completed two PA school rotations in England. After graduating from PA school she moved directly into surgery, and she has since worked in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Her clinical work includes caring for patients through reconstructive procedures after cancer or trauma, and she also works with patients seeking cosmetic procedures. She sees health as having physical, emotional, aesthetic and functional sides, and her aim is to give patients the knowledge and tools to take ownership of their own health.

To stay current in the field, she follows medical podcasts and attends health, wellness and aesthetic conferences.
