Jennifer Ferdinand

Jennifer Ferdinand owns Serendipity Wellness Studio in Burke, Virginia, where she works as a massage therapist and esthetician. She has been working in both massage therapy and esthetics since 2006. Her massage training was at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, Virginia, and her esthetics and micro-dermabrasion training was at the Esthetics Institute in Vienna, Virginia. She also trained in Traditional Thai Massage at the Thai Institute in Arlington, Virginia, and has studied The Bendable Body Method of resistance stretching. Her degrees are a Bachelor of Arts from Newcomb College at Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland. Her massage sessions include custom therapeutic work drawing on Swedish, deep tissue, lomi lomi, trigger point, cupping and stretch techniques. Other offerings include ashiatsu bar massage, traditional Thai massage, prenatal and couples massage, isometric muscle and body balancing, Aromatouch, lava shell massage, Table Thai Stretch and facials. At present, she concentrates on massage and facials, and she teaches Mobility Stretch 4 Life classes at the studio.
