Jennell Cartwright

Jennell Cartwright is the founder and stylist behind Salon Boujie. She started doing hair at 14 in an African braiding salon in the early 1990s and has worked behind the chair for more than two decades. She created the salon to bring haircuts, scalp treatments and color services together. Her specialties include pixie cuts and precision short hair, textured hair, relaxers and color, and scalp care for thinning hair. She works with a wide range of hair textures and conditions, including thinning hair, alopecia and sensitive scalps. She believes hair care is tied to identity, self-esteem and overall wellness, so she tailors care to each client and provides advice and care plans for looking after hair between visits.
