Jen Kohlenberger

Jen Kohlenberger runs JK Designs, where she works as both stylist and owner. Her hair career started in Costa Mesa at JMc Hair Studio, a private studio she opened in August 2013. In 2015 she moved the business to Tustin. Before entering hair, she completed a bachelor's degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, then went back to school to earn a cosmetology license. She won the People's Pick Award at the 2011 Junior Style Stars competition and was named Santa Ana RAW Hairstylist of the Year. She has also traveled to New York, where she connected with the people behind Ted Gibson Salon. Bridal work is her main focus, with vintage, boho and beachy looks among the styles she creates. She also takes on weddings, photoshoots, runway shows and industry competitions.
