About
Jen is Master Colorist, Master Barber and Hair Stylist, with more than 30 years of experience in haircutting and a focus on color. Color correction is a central part of the work, including fixing color mistakes made at home or by another professional, along with natural blondes, gray coverage and guiding clients from color to their natural white hair. She also specializes in women's short hair and bobs, men's haircuts and razor haircutting.
She trained as a barber at the Academy of Hair Design and taught hair color for Framesi USA while still in school. Early work included assisting two established stylists in Oklahoma City and working at Cheveux Salon in Phoenix. She moved to Marin County in 1991, opened 3rd Generation salon in San Rafael in 1993, and opened Peace, Love & Grilled Cheeses Hair Salon in 2000.
She now works from a private studio at 510 Red Hill Avenue in San Anselmo, and continues her training through hair shows and classes throughout the year.
