Jen Alfaro owns ChromaCrowns and works as a hair artist and colorist. She opened ChromaCrowns Studio, a micro-salon in Los Angeles, in 2018, and now oversees business operations for the studio.
She studied biology in college before training at cosmetology school. After graduating she started out as a salon assistant, then passed the State Board Exam for cosmetology. She has been licensed as a cosmetologist for 12 years and has also completed business education related to running a studio.
Her specialties are balayage, foil balayage, highlights, color correction, vivid color and haircuts. She works with blondes, brunettes and redheads on everything from natural looks to high-contrast ones.
