Jeffrey K Lander, MD, PhD

Jeffrey K Lander, MD, PhD is a board certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Beach Cities Dermatology. He holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, and he completed medical school and dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota.

He also finished a one-year fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

His work includes skin cancer evaluation and treatment, with in-office skin cancer surgery and reconstruction, alongside general medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Visits can cover skin exams, benign lesion removal, moles, growths, warts and cysts, as well as pigmentation concerns, wrinkles, acne, eczema, rashes and psoriasis. He also treats pediatric dermatology and hair and nail disorders, and performs laser surgery, dermal fillers and Botox.
