About

Jeannie Sides is the owner and lead technician of JuvEssentials and works as a cosmetic tattoo artist in San Francisco. She has performed cosmetic procedures since 2004 and has personally completed more than 12,000 of them. She is a licensed esthetician, a certified Softap technician and trainer, and a lifetime member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. Her focus includes areola restoration and scar tissue tattooing for mastectomy patients, which she offers through a referral network. She is the only artist in the Bay Area offering areola restoration through that network, and members of the medical community and body art industry recommend and refer clients to her. She also serves clients from around the world. She has used a saline-based formula for permanent eyeliner removal for more than a decade. Faded permanent eyeliner that has shifted to blue, gray, green or another shade can often be refreshed without full removal, unless the ink is too dark, heavy, thick, crooked or misplaced.
