Jean Claude

Jean Claude is the owner, Master Stylist and Colorist at Kiss Salon in Washington, DC's West End, a business he founded when it opened in August 2021. He started his training in France in 1987, studying with Haute Coiffure Française under Jacques Dessange, Maniatis, and Alexandre de Paris. He moved to Washington, DC in 1994, and after relocating to Georgetown he trained at Pivot Point.

He has spent three decades working as a colorist in the city, and the salon describes him as one of the most requested stylists in Washington. His color work covers foils, highlights, balayage, and ombre, along with corrective color work for clients who need color corrected. He also creates event hairstyles for photo shoots, fashion shows, high-profile events, and weddings, and has travelled across the country to style clients for special occasions. He teaches balayage to the salon's Master Stylists.
