Janis Wong

Janis Wong is the founder of Collection by Janis and also founded The Afterglow Effect. She began pursuing makeup work about 14 years ago as a makeup artist, and previously worked for Gene Juarez, MAC and Benefit. She trained at Gary Manual Aveda Institute, where she earned an esthetics license in 2016. She holds a license as a Permanent Makeup Artist, an esthetics license, and a tattoo license for microblading. She has been certified more than 10 times and has trained over 100 students in permanent makeup and lashes. She has recruited artists to join the team.
