Janie Escamilla

Janie Escamilla is the founder of Janiegrl Skincare, where she works as a licensed master esthetician and skin wellness expert. She holds an esthetics license from Cinta Aveda Institute, where she trained, and she is a San Jose State University graduate. She previously founded Moonstone Skin and Body Care, building a practice centered on individualized treatment and skin-nourishing ingredients of high quality. Later she completed advanced clinical training with Sandra Morrow, MD, at a medical spa in San Francisco, Union Street Medspa. Her work focuses on skin changes linked to hormones and on melanin-rich skin. She treats concerns such as aging, sensitivity, hormonal breakouts and skin resilience, and many of her clients are women in their 40s and older who are going through perimenopause or menopause.
