Janene Mitchell

Janene Mitchell is a licensed acupuncturist who provides facial acupuncture at the studio. Her acupuncturist license is paired with certification in several forms of Asian energy-based bodywork. She earned a bachelor's degree in classical music from a conservatory in San Francisco, and later traveled south to study herbal medicine and acupuncture. She has trained in many approaches to facial acupuncture, learning from Yue-Ying Li, Michelle Gellis, Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, Ping Zhang and Martha Lucas. She previously worked as a Shiatsu therapist on the staff of a Japanese spa in San Francisco, then spent 15 years practicing in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills before relocating to Portland in 2016. Her work centers on women's health, including infertility, pregnancy and healthy aging, along with skincare.
