About
Janelle Varada works mainly in hair color. Frédéric Fekkai personally hired her, and she trained under Nancy Braun there. Her career has taken her through Beverly Hills and New York, with stints at Vidal Sassoon, Frédéric Fekkai, Juan Juan Beverly Hills and James Kendall Salon. She started her training at the Vidal Sassoon Salon & Academy, where she worked under Annie Humphreys. She has also completed several degrees in makeup application and color theory. Balayage, color correction and natural-looking blondes are her main specialties. She developed the Hi-Ball method, which combines balayage and highlights to build dimension, texture and movement.
