Janecia 'Necia' Buford founded Styles by Necia: Loc Studio LLC and works there as owner. She holds Certified Microlocs Specialist and Licensed Master Loctician credentials, and a Licensed Natural Hair Stylist license. She is also a Certified Microlocs Consultant and Certified Lace Wig Maker.
She has more than 20 years in the beauty industry, including over 20 years in natural hair and braiding and more than 15 years focused on locs. Her work is limited to microlocs and traditional interlocs, covering microloc installs and upkeep, microloc extensions, interlocking-only loc reties, and loc styling with natural loc care. She also does interloc extensions on new starts and newly established micro-interlocs.
Beyond the studio, she founded Styles by Necia Academy and mentors beauty professionals who want to advance their loc skills. She has helped hundreds of clients achieve healthy locs.
