Jane Weston

Jane Weston is a board-certified plastic surgeon based at the Menlo Park location of Aesthetx, which she joined after building her own Menlo Park practice, founded in 2001. The site calls her an internationally renowned expert in cosmetic surgery and says she is among the first women to lead a practice that combines surgical and non-surgical aesthetics. It also notes that she has received the Woman of Excellence in Health Care award.

She began her career as a plastic surgeon with Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Santa Teresa from 1985 to 1990, then joined a private practice in Palo Alto in 1990 alongside one of her mentors. In professional service, she has been President of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, sat on that society's board of directors and led its Public Education Committee. At the American Society of Plastic Surgeons she co-founded the Women Plastic Surgeons Committee and was its first chair, chaired the Ethics, Judicial Council and Marketing committees, sits on the board of directors and acts as a spokesperson. Through Interplast she volunteered as a surgeon, later became its Associate Director on the Board, and helped coordinate surgical outreach, including work in Brazil. She also sits on the board of governors of the Stanford Medical Alumni Association and holds an adjunct clinical faculty position in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford Medical School.

Her training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, earned in 1975, and a medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, earned in 1979. She completed a six-year plastic surgery residency at Stanford and a fellowship in craniofacial and aesthetic surgery in Paris, France, under Dr. Daniel Marchac. Her practice covers facelifts, breast augmentation and liposuction, along with other cosmetic procedures. Patients from the Bay Area are welcome at the Menlo Park location.
