Jane Scher

Jane Scher works as a registered nurse and certified nurse injector at SkinTight MedSpa. She holds an RN degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Monmouth University. She has concentrated on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery since 1971, with more than 30 years of experience, and she has belonged to the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses for over 25 years. Her early career began in the operating room at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where she gave one-to-one care to post-operative patients and taught OR nurses about patient safety in plastic surgery. She then ran a consulting firm serving surgeons in hospitals and private offices, taught physician assistants injection technique at Metropolitan Vein Center, and trained new staff on injectables. Her work centers on injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, and she also does consultations on injectables and laser treatments. She uses only FDA-approved substances and applies ice during injections to reduce swelling. She has treated more than 10,000 patients.
