Jan Fortarel

Jan Fortarel owns J Fortarel Salon, where she also works as the stylist. She has run an independent salon for more than 30 years. Her training was an apprenticeship under Michael Taylor, founder and original owner of Antoine Du Chez. Her education covers international hair color, with a focus on European color services. She has the role of Salon Educational Director. Continuing education is a key part of her practice. She placed first in state and national competitions, in both cutting and hair color. She has also appeared on local television, giving live makeovers alongside Michael Taylor.
