Jamie Kinch

Jamie Kinch, owner and master colorist, has more than thirty years of experience in hair color and cutting. Training came under the stylist Mario Tricoci. She has also worked as an educator at Capri Beauty College. Earlier, she owned B Spoiled Salon in Lincoln Park, Chicago, and still works in a personal studio there once a month. Her cutting covers classic and modern styles, including French cutting, and her work spans straight, wavy, curly and textured hair. Curly hair cutting, styling and frizz control are a specialty, and she gives personalized advice on maintaining curls at home. She also cuts men's hair, including fades. On color, she works with a range of hair color systems and takes time to learn each client's preferences before coloring. Her color work includes balayage, vibrant shades and highlights. She also provides scalp care and head spa treatments, and hears out clients before working on the scalp and hair.
