Jamie Hann

Jamie Hann is the founder and practitioner of Temple Wellness. A career in makeup began at MAC Cosmetics in 2009, and the work has spanned nearly two decades in beauty, including editorial and commercial projects in San Diego, Los Angeles and New York City, with projects for Amazon Prime and work at New York Fashion Week. Featured work includes Hot Rod Magazine in 2010 and 2011. The first salon was an Aveda lifestyle space where color was the specialty.

Training includes Bellus Academy, where Jamie graduated with honors after a 1,500-hour advanced course covering precision cut, color, advanced makeup theory and styling, with Sassoon-based education. Extension training includes a microlink certification with DreamCatchers, three methods at the California Hair Extension Academy including Malaysian pole weaving, and five extension certifications in total. Other study includes Toni and Guy techniques, advanced color through Aveda's curriculum, editorial styling under Sharon Blain, and master's training in mixed methodologies in 2022 with Rachel Nixon, founder of Everything Hand Tied. Jamie also studied time-saving techniques and business strategy with Nicki Wildflower, completed a Business and Marketing Master Class with Britt Seva in 2022, a Cutting Master Class with Lihn Pham in 2024, an Extension Blending Master Class with Vicki Casiola in 2024, and New York Fashion Week editorial hairstyles training in 2025.

The practice brings hair, makeup, somatic breathwork, Reiki energy healing, tarot and oracle readings together. Breath is central to the work, and part of the practice is focused on men who want to process emotions in a grounded setting. The mission is to support high-achieving women and men with self-care across hair, makeup and wellness.
