Jamie Dodson is a Senior Colorist at the West Loop Salon of Art + Science. She has worked with the salon since 2016, after previously working at Paul Mitchell the School. She started in the salon's apprenticeship program and later moved to the floor at the Evanston location.
She specializes in creative color and balayage, and also offers formal styling and wedding hair. Her training includes L'Oréal Professional Advanced Balayage, Sunlights Balayage, Pravana Vivids, Stephanie Brinkerhoff Bridal Styling, Vivienne Mackinder Editorial Styling, and an editorial mentorship through Paul Mitchell with Robert Cromeans, Linda Yodice and Stephanie Kocielski.
Pricing starts at $118 for color touch-ups, $133 for virgin or tint color, $220 for partial highlights and $250 for full highlights. Balayage and foilyage start at $250, and dual process at $280. Bleach and tone and creative or corrective color start at $300, and both require a consultation first. She works Saturdays at the West Loop Salon every other week.
