James K. DelloRusso, MD

James K. DelloRusso, MD, has practiced medicine since 1988 and is the Medical Director at PrimaFace Aesthetics in Fountain Valley, California. His residency, spanning medicine, surgery, critical care and anesthesiology, took place at UMDNJ and affiliated Hahnemann hospitals, and he went on to a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at St. Christopher Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Board certification is in anesthesiology. He moved into aesthetics in 2015 after earlier work in leadership roles with multispecialty and anesthesiology groups and in heading anesthesiology departments at several local hospitals, among them Community Hospital Long Beach and Huntington Beach Hospital. He is a former Chief of Medical Staff at Community Hospital Long Beach. At PrimaFace, he designs each treatment plan and has received formal training on every FDA-approved product the practice offers.
