James Griffith

James Griffith owns the salon and works as a master hairdresser. His specialties are French haircutting and cutting all hair types, and his work does not include color services. He began working as a hairdresser at age 25, and was introduced to Aveda, the salon business and training by Aveda's founder, Horst Rechelbacher. He first encountered French haircutting at the first Aveda Congress.

He trained at the Jacques Dessange Academy's advanced class in New York City alongside his team, among the first American students to attend. He later started his own apprentice training program centered on the French haircutting technique. He is also a member of Intercoiffure.
