About

Jackie R. founded Serenity in the City and teaches yoga. She has worked as a licensed massage therapist for more than 20 years, and she is a Reiki Master and an Ayurvedic Practitioner trained at Kripalu.

Her yoga training includes a 200-hour Journey Into Power course at Cape Ann Power Yoga and The Energy Barre, a 300-hour yoga certification from Down Under Yoga, a year-long mentorship with Jennifer Murray, owner of Yoga on Central, and functional movement study with Jason Crandall. She is also certified in Spa Yoga through Sutra Yoga in Lowell.

She aims to bring breath and movement to each student in a way that suits who they are today.
