Jack is a stylist at Japanese Hair Salon DEFI and founded the salon. He started his career in 1991 after training at a beauty school in Kanagawa, Japan.
He moved to Boston in 1996 and worked as a stylist at a Newbury Street salon for six years. In 2002 he moved back to Japan. He returned to Boston in 2008 and opened the Newbury Street salon.
He specializes in short haircuts and bobs, and his secondary specialty is the Japanese straightening perm. He has over 25 years of experience working with a range of hair types and textures.
