J. Vargas

J. Vargas is a photographer and bodypainter who teaches photography and FX at the Vargas Beauty and Arts Academy and creates workshops around the world. He is recognized worldwide as a photographer. His photographs have been awarded and displayed in the Rotunda of the White House, and the White House recognized him among the top 14 artists in the US. He photographed the Miss Universe pageant in Ecuador and in the US. Among his projects are Best Places to Visit in the World and the Pin Ups and World Cup calendars. His bodypainting has appeared on the Jean Paul Gaultier runway in Vienna and has been displayed at museums, including Bellas Artes in Venezuela and in New Jersey. He has worked with top designers for Fashion Week NY and in Cali, Colombia, and body art has also been featured in a SyFy Network series and on Skin Wars. His past celebrity clients include Eugenio Derbez, Celia Cruz, Placido Domingo, Tito Puente, Donald Trump, Anthony Queen and Mark Anthony.
