Itay Wiser

Itay Wiser runs the practice and works as a plastic surgeon. He is board-certified. He holds faculty posts as an Associate Professor with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and as Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mount Sinai Elmhurst Hospital. Earlier academic appointments were at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Tel Aviv University. Training includes a fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital focused on aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, and lymphedema surgery training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He holds a PhD in epidemiology and public health. Across more than 20 years of surgical work he has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and has presented original research at the 2026 ASRM Annual Meeting. In 2019 he published research in Annals of Plastic Surgery on surgical site infection in body contouring patients who had not reached a stable, healthy weight. His work centers on breast surgery to enhance, reshape or restore, including reconstruction, implant surgery, and implant removal with revision. He also performs mommy makeovers, tummy tucks, liposuction, facelifts, body contouring after major weight loss and abdominal contouring. Breast reduction is his most requested procedure. His approach pairs medical knowledge with a natural-looking aesthetic, and he meets each patient one-on-one to discuss goals before developing a customized treatment plan.
