About
Isabel M. Algaze, MD, is Medical Director of the Catalina Island Health Emergency Department. She is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with UCI Health. Her training includes an emergency medicine residency at UPR and a subspecialty fellowship in wilderness medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Her clinical and research interests include wilderness, hyperbaric, dive, expedition and global medicine, and humanitarian aid. She established and developed the curriculum for the UC Irvine Health Wilderness Medicine fellowship.
