Ify

Ify offers hair braiding and hairstyling for clients aged 13 and up. Braid styles include knotless and goddess box braids, stitch feed-in braids, tribal feed-in braids with layers or box braids behind, and ponytail or bun feed-in styles. Twist and loc options include passion, kinky, soft and spring twists, butterfly locs, faux locs, soft locs and dread retwists. Crochet braids, lemonade braids and braids touch-ups are also offered.

Other services include installs, also called sew-ins, feed-in braids with no stitches, and half up and half down hairstyles, plus a one-on-one braiding class. Natural hair shorter than 4 inches needs a consultation before booking. Clients choose a style and add the hair length it calls for, such as 28 inches for waist-length braids, 20 inches for mid-back braids or 24 inches for pass mid-back braids. Short breaks are taken when needed during appointments.
