Hung

Hung is a mentor artist on the Blush and Braids Beauty Bar team and travels from Chicago, Illinois, to wedding and event clients. He is licensed in cosmetology and spent about seven years working in a salon before moving into weddings, starting in the wedding industry in 2019 and joining the business in 2020. Since 2019 he has styled hair for the ClickCon photoshoot conference in Chicago every year.

His wedding services include hair, blowouts, haircuts and video education, alongside hair and makeup work. He books 45 minutes per attendee and 60 minutes for the bride or guest of honor. He is working on perfecting the Hollywood wave, and his favorite looks range from sexy, romantic and glam waves to boho, vintage, structured styles, braids and whimsical designs. He took an online class with hairstylist Farrukh Shamuratov and keeps learning from hairstyling videos by several stylists on Instagram and YouTube.

He enjoys working out how to create hairstyles he has never done before, and he likes talking with the many interesting people he meets at weddings. His kit includes an ionic curling iron, a Sam Villa texture iron, a teasing brush and a pick comb, and he prefers Sexy Hair products.
