Howard F. McKay

Howard F. McKay is a nurse practitioner at Skintastic Med Spa. He holds MSN and RN credentials and is board certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. He has more than 27 years of experience in the medical and aesthetic industry. Previously, he was Director of Advanced Practice Services at Children's Health, where he oversaw more than 350 nurse practitioners and physician assistants and created the Trauma Nurse Practitioner role. He also taught for ten years as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Nurse Practitioner Graduate Program at the University of Texas at Arlington. He served an eight-year term on the National Committee for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, where he published education modules and supplied test items for the National Board Certification Exam for Nurse Practitioners. In 2009 he was named one of Dallas/Fort Worth's Great 100 Nurses. He has trained under aesthetic plastic surgeons since 1995 and has run an aesthetic clinic on both full-time and part-time schedules. His work centers on wellness, regenerative and aesthetic medicine, and cosmetic injectable treatments.
