Howard F. McKay

Howard F. McKay founded Texas Beauty NP and works as a nurse practitioner. He holds MSN, RN, FNP-C, and CPNP-AC credentials and is a double-board certified nurse practitioner. He has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including as a nurse practitioner. Earlier in his career he served as Director of Advanced Practice Services at Children's Health, overseeing more than 350 nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

He established the Trauma NP role at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and contributed to the hospital becoming the first pediatric Level I trauma center in Texas. He taught for about ten years as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UTA NP Programs at The University of Texas at Arlington, and served on a national pediatric NP committee for about eight years. He was recognized as a DFW Great 100 Nurses honoree for contributions to nursing and patient care.

His aesthetic injectable training dates to about 1995 and includes work alongside plastic surgeons across the United States. His focus at the practice includes Botox, dermal fillers, lip filler, PDO thread lifts, PRP hair restoration, medical weight management, and hormone optimization.
