About
Dr. Chaboki founded Potomac Plastic Surgery and serves as its medical director. He holds dual board certification, in otolaryngology and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also belongs to the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Washington Metropolitan Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Society.
He earned an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University and an MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000. He trained in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, completed a general surgery residency at UCSF, and did a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
His practice centers on the face, nose, neck and eyes. Among his main procedures are facelifts, neck lifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty and facial sculpting. He also performs breathing and nasal function procedures, including septoplasty, turbinate reduction, nasal valve surgery and sinus surgery. Alongside surgery, he offers nonsurgical treatments such as BOTOX Cosmetic and dermal fillers. For each patient he weighs surgical and nonsurgical options, takes a full history and physical before any operation, and reviews medical history along with the risks, benefits and recovery for each option. He sees men and women of all ages, including patients from Arlington, Bethesda, Chevy Chase and nearby communities.
He lectures on facial plastic surgery for physicians and patients and teaches other physicians. He is affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and the DCHUX ambulatory surgery center in Washington, DC. Through FACE TO FACE: The National Domestic Violence Project, he provides pro bono cosmetic surgery for domestic violence survivors.
