About
Houston Kennedy owns Houston Kennedy Salon in West Hollywood and works as its stylist. He started with an apprenticeship, then assisted senior stylists at a Seattle salon, built a clientele there and added salon management to his work. He later opened a new salon for that Seattle company, moved to Beverly Hills to work while keeping Seattle clients, and opened the West Hollywood studio. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and a cosmetology license.
His training includes Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle, Advanced Cutting Techniques, and Hot Head Hair Extension Education, along with industry programs including Institute of Courage, the Redken Symposium, the Advanced Hair Conference and the Summit Salon Training Conference.
He performs the 45-minute hair portion of Celestial Glam sessions. He enjoys seeing clients delighted with their new hair.
