Holly Wiitala

Holly Wiitala works as a stylist at Rooted Salon and has worked as a hair stylist since 2006. She trained at the Paul Mitchell Cao institute in Los Angeles and holds OCS, Oway and O&M certification, which she has held from 2007 to the present. Her training in hair painting and balayage came from The Paint Box and The Whittemore House salon in New York. Further study includes a razor cutting class with Gerard Scarpaci in spring 2019, a precision cutting course with DJ Muldoon, and refreshed balayage and foiling methods with Mish Jolie. She works with every hair texture, from fine to curly. She regards the consultation as the most important step in tailoring a service to a client's everyday needs, and she finishes each service with dry cutting and refinement so the shape grows out well and holds.
