Hisham Seify, MD

Hisham Seify, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Newport Beach and serving the wider Orange County area. He holds an M.D. and a Ph.D., is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He graduated with honors from Cairo University in 1992, completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Emory University in 2005, and earned his PhD and a clinical fellowship at Emory. He completed a master's degree during post-graduate training that spanned about 13 years, and he also completed a fellowship in oculoplastic and aesthetic plastic surgery.

He is a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, and holds appointments at Hoag Hospital and Saddleback Hospital. He directs the Orange County Aesthetic Fellowship, which is endorsed by ASAPS and conducted through the San Francisco Match, and he is editor for oculoplastic surgery at the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He is immediate past president of the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons, sits on the board of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is president and co-founder of the Worldwide Cancer Network, a nonprofit supporting cancer treatment in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East. He has also served as a junior faculty member at a university and undertook a second round of training in another country that included general surgery and trauma.

His focus is facial aesthetics and breast surgery, with an emphasis on complex cases, and he also works in reconstructive procedures. Procedures include facelifts, neck lifts, breast augmentation, mommy makeovers and body contouring, and he has extensive experience with hair restoration techniques. He has authored scientific articles, book chapters and medical textbooks, lectures at national and international conferences, and has been a visiting professor and guest surgeon at overseas hospitals since 2008. He personally oversees the medical spa and performs many of its noninvasive procedures. He received a 2007 Sherrell Aston Award from ASAPS, Orange County Physicians of Excellence recognition from 2013 to 2025, Top Doctors in America listings from 2012 to 2025, and a 2023 to 2025 Newsweek ranking among top US plastic surgeons for breast surgery, cosmetic eyelid surgery and liposuction.
