About

Harry T. Haramis is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Allure Plastic Surgery, where he leads the breast and body work and also performs liposuction. He has more than 30 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and the practice lists him as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He is dually board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His training began with a summa cum laude bachelor's degree in zoology from Rutgers University, followed by a medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1987, a five-year general surgery residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and a two-year integrated plastic surgery fellowship at Wright State University and Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. His specialties include breast augmentation, breast lift and revision breast surgery, as well as reconstructive plastic surgery, where combined procedures are sometimes planned for a single recovery. In body contouring he works with tummy tuck, liposuction, mommy makeover, VASER ultrasound-assisted liposuction with or without fat transfer, Liposuction 360, SmartLipo, and bariatric body contouring such as arm, thigh and body lifts. He also performs Brazilian butt lifts using a multi-layer fat transfer technique and treats gynecomastia (male breast reduction). He holds active surgical privileges at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Clara Maass Medical Center and JFK University Medical Center, and belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons. His published work includes a 1995 paper in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery on unilateral breast atrophy. Consultations begin with the patient's goals, an honest view of what is realistic, and a plan the patient understands. He says he gives each patient the time needed to reach those goals while keeping high standards of safety and care.
