Harman Buttar, MD

Harman Buttar, MD founded Vital Clinic & Spa and practices family medicine there with a primary care focus. She leads both the medical team and the medspa team. She earned a medical degree at McGovern Medical School, formerly UT Health Science Center-Houston, in the Texas Medical Center, then completed a family medicine residency at the Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston. She spent nearly ten years in the Texas Medical Center, and during residency she trained alongside dermatology practices there. She is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Additional certifications cover functional medicine, injectable treatments including dermal fillers and neurotoxins, laser procedures, and anti-aging protocols. Her services include women's health exams with pelvic exams, pap smears and breast exams, and she gives intramuscular testosterone injections at the clinic. Consultations include a full physical exam and a review of personal and family medical history. She uses FDA-approved aesthetic devices for medical purposes and keeps current through continuing medical education courses, conferences and meetings. She listens closely to concerns and takes time to explain things.
