About
Harlow owns the studio and works there as its color specialist. Early work took place in Detroit salons before a move to Chicago. Training began at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in Michigan, completed in 2009, followed by advanced study with Vidal Sassoon to become a color specialist. Continuing education has also involved working alongside artistic teams from many hair brands and salons, among them Evo and Goldwell. Color anchors the practice, with work in lightening, natural balayage, correcting color, reducing or removing grey, and bold fashion shades. Favorite looks run from shags and anime-inspired hair to fashion mullets, textured curls, retro glamour, and cinematic or conceptual styles.
