Gypsy Nix owns Gypsy Nix Studio, a role held since April 2021. Before that, Gypsy Nix spent a decade as a stylist and manager at Gould's Day Spa & Salon in Collierville, from April 2011 to April 2021. Also serves as founder, owner, and CEO of Gypsy Nix Makeup and Hair in Memphis, a role held since January 2001. Licensed as a cosmetologist and working in the hair industry since 1996.
The focus is color and cutting, along with hair and makeup for commercial and private photo shoots and for weddings. Credits include hair and makeup for album covers, magazines, commercial spots, and weddings. Gypsy Nix has also taught for a couple of hair color brands.
Gypsy Nix will redo hair or makeup if a client is not happy with the result, and client preferences are put first.
