Guofang Wang, MD

Guofang Wang, MD, co-founded Everest Medical Group and serves as its lead physician. He grew the practice from a single clinic into several urgent care and primary care sites. He is an internal medicine specialist who treats complex conditions, handles acute interventions and manages chronic illnesses that affect multiple body systems, for patients of every age.

He finished medical school in 1982 and has practiced medicine for more than four decades. He holds an active teaching appointment at a medical school and coordinates educational programs with Widener University. He is affiliated with Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Delaware County Memorial and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is an active U.S. Civil Surgeon.

He accepts Medicare and Medicaid and treats patients from childhood through adulthood. The Asian Chamber of Commerce named him CEO of the Year in 2023. In 2022, he and the practice were recognized together as a Small Business of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
