Gregory E. Rauscher, M.D., is a board-certified plastic surgeon who owns the practice and has worked in medicine for more than 30 years. His practice covers cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, laser surgery, and microsurgery of the hand. He graduated from medical school in New York and completed his residency at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons, and holds a Certificate of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. He holds a faculty appointment in the plastic surgery department of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and is Section Chief of Cosmetic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. He has published journal articles and textbook chapters on the mid-facelift, endoscopic browlift, and eyelid surgery. His memberships include the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Association for Surgery of the Hand, the International College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the New Jersey Plastic Surgery Society. He served as president of the New Jersey Plastic Surgery Society in 1995 and 1996, and as vice president of the New York Regional Plastic Surgery Society. He has extensive experience in breast augmentation, having worked with many kinds of implants, and substantial experience in breast reconstruction. He is renowned for correcting cosmetic breast irregularities and has performed many body lift operations for patients after gastric bypass.
