Grace McCarthy owns The Art of Massage & Skincare in Westhampton Beach, a business she opened in 2001, and she works there as a massage therapist and esthetician. Her massage therapist license was granted in 2000 and came through the State University of New York. Her Occupational Studies degree, completed in 2001, is from the New York College for Wholistic Health, Education and Research in Syosset, New York. She trained in Ashiatsu under Ruthie Hardee, who founded the technique. Her main work is Swedish and deep tissue massage, with Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, active isolated stretching, and Master Medical Massage that includes complete shoulder girdle work. She also offers La Stone therapy, reflexology, warm bamboo massage and aromatherapy massage. Ashiatsu suits deep, intense sessions.
