Giovanna Paredes

Giovanna Paredes is an APRN on the care team at the practice and works at the Weston location. She holds degrees in medicine, immunology and advanced nursing, and her training is global, including a medical degree from UMSA/UNAM and a residency at Hospital General de Mexico.

She received a competitive scholarship for a master's degree in immunology, focusing on the immunology of psoriasis, and her work centers on chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis. She also manages acne, rosacea and eczema, offers skin cancer screenings and prevention, and provides injectable fillers within her medical and cosmetic dermatology work.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and she mentors future practitioners at FIU and the University of Miami.
