About
Ghazala Farooqui, MD, founded GT Clinic in Marlton, NJ, where she serves as medical director. She is board-certified in three specialties: internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. Across more than 20 years of clinical work she has practiced as a pulmonologist, a sleep specialist and an intensivist, in both outpatient offices and hospitals. Her medical training began with an internal medicine residency at Columbia University St. Luke's Hospital (now Mount Sinai) and the University of Massachusetts. She then completed a pulmonary and sleep medicine fellowship at the University of South Alabama. Research on asthma and allergic disease was carried out at Thomas Jefferson University, and she finished a two-year integrative medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil. Her aesthetic training includes one-on-one advanced instruction from Dr. Raj Acquilla and Dr. Kate Goldie, and she holds certification in regenerative procedures developed by Dr. Charles Runels. She is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Since 2018 she has paired regenerative procedures with functional and integrative medicine. Her areas of focus are regenerative aesthetic and functional medicine, hyperpigmentation and melasma, acne scar treatment, and PRP-based intimate wellness programs. Each GT Restore Lift plan is built after she assesses facial anatomy, skin condition and the patient's goals. For patients with pigment-prone skin she avoids energy-based devices, and she recommends a procedure only when it is needed.
