George Lefkovits

George Lefkovits is medical director, founder and director of Park Plaza Plastic Surgery in New York City, and has practiced privately in New York since 1981. He is an assistant professor at New York Medical College, teaches in the plastic surgery program at Lenox Hill Hospital, and advises medical students at Downstate Medical College. He has received invitations to lecture abroad, serving as a guest plastic surgeon in the United Arab Emirates and a guest speaker in Switzerland. His education took place at Georgetown University School of Medicine and SUNY Downstate Medical College. After medical school he completed a general surgery internship and surgical residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, then a two-year residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was chief resident. He holds double board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. His specialties include breast augmentation and lift, Brazilian butt lift, tummy tuck, mommy makeover, blepharoplasty, liposuction, gynecomastia correction, facelifts, body contouring, hair and eyebrow transplants, and ethnic and closed rhinoplasty. He adjusts each eyelid lift so it does not look overdone, and his consultations cover medical history, anatomy and aesthetic goals, with options and risks explained. He serves LGBTQIA+ patients, including transgender and non-binary patients. His published work includes peer-reviewed plastic surgery literature such as the Annals of Plastic Surgery, and he has presented at the national meeting of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has a strong reputation in women's and men's cosmetic surgery and is multilingual. He has been featured in Good Day New York, the Baltimore Sun, the San Antonio Express, Telemundo TV and a Swiss magazine on male plastic surgery.
