Gabriela Pieroni

Gabriela Pieroni owns Soft Studio and works there as a hair stylist. She began cosmetology after trying an intro class shortly after high school, and she trained at the San Francisco Aveda school. She then trained as an apprentice for two years at Edo Salon under Jayne Matthews, and stayed on there for about six years in total, starting while still in school. After Edo she moved from the Bay Area to Portland and opened Soft Studio about four years later. She has about ten years of experience as a hairstylist and has taken classes with Bumble & Bumble, Davines, Organic Colour Systems and Pony Salon. Her work has been featured in Elle France, SF Gate and Modern Salon. She has trained extensively in razor cutting and organic hair color, and her style focus is effortless, easy-to-style bohemian hair. She offers one-on-one razor cutting education, including 3-hour private classes at $600 an hour, booked through the contact form. Her teaching is gentle and encouraging, aimed at building confidence with the tool, and she has a full and growing clientele.
