About
Gabriel Moreno is the owner and a master stylist at Mas Beauty Restoration. He began cosmetology training in Mexico City at 17 and later received advanced training at the Sassoon academy in cutting and hair color. He moved to the United States in 1994 and started working in Chicago's Gold Coast, then worked at Paul Redher Salon, Ivan Noel Salon and Sho Studio. Earlier in his career he worked for Christian Dior and Elizabeth Arden, focusing on makeup application and skin care. He has also worked with Wella Professional, Schwarzkopf Professional, Redken and Clairol. His specialties are thermal reconditioning (Japanese thermal straightening) and balayage.
