Gabe Elliott

Gabe Elliott owns HSG Salon and is also its stylist. He began cosmetology training in 2010 at Paul Mitchell the School Houston, after a career in corporate telecommunications. Justin Dall, who runs J Dall Hair Salon in Houston, oversaw his nine-month apprenticeship. He has kept learning since then, completing the Goldwell Master Colorist Program, the ABCs of cutting course at the Sassoon Academy and the Sharon Blaine Bootcamp of styling, plus many Oribe Journey to Mastery courses. He takes online classes taught by international stylists and travels across the country each year to keep his skills current. For three years he served as a Houston Oribe ambassador, supporting local Oribe education, and he was part of the Oribe team at New York Fashion Week in February 2020. He works with a diverse clientele. Appointments open with a consultation to learn what the client wants and to outline a realistic route toward their hair goals. He adapts trends to each client's style and daily routine, keeps hair health in view, and encourages maintenance at home.
