Fran Fernandez

Fran Fernandez owns Artistic Hair & Makeup and serves as president of Artistic Hair & Makeup, Inc. She has worked as a hairstylist and cosmetologist for over 30 years, and is award-winning.

Fran specializes in airbrush makeup, including costume work, and is the creator of Francesca Cosmetics. Past work includes consulting for Tampa Bay department stores, serving as a visual consultant for the Hyatt Regency Westshore, working with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders, and judging the 2005 Pre-Teen and Teen Beauty Pageant for Tampa and St. Petersburg. Fran has been the preferred makeup artist for the Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla for the last four queens, and did makeup for a Tampa General Hospital billboard campaign featuring its staff.

Clients have included celebrities, Fox 13 television personalities and American Idol contestants. Fran has been interviewed or featured in the Tampa Tribune, Tampa Flair, Applause, the Tampa Bay Business Journal and other publications, and work has appeared in Inspire Magazine. She also volunteers with the American Cancer Society's Look Good, Feel Good program.
